It's all true.
A real, American style Thanksgiving was celebrated
with turkey and all of the fixings here in Namibia. We (myself and
fellow PCVs) prepared the whole feast for Jaco's family. Everything
turned out great, many thanks to our families in the U.S. who emailed
recipes and suggestions...a dad's special mashed potatoes, a mom's
special rolls, etc, etc until the whole table was full of delicious
food! We (PCVs and Namibians) all enjoyed it immensely!
